Comics Spain PVC Part 1


Back in the 90's, if you had a craving for comic figures in the States, chances were you didn't have any. Only if you were lucky enough to somehow be in Spain did you get these figures (although some people claim they were sold in comic shops.) Comics Spain had been making figures as early as the late 70's, although their big break didn't come until the 90's, when no good DC Super Heroes, at least not Batman, figures were being made. Unfortunately, in 1996,
Comics Spain filed for bankruptcy and gave most of their licenses to a similar company, Yolanda, which didn't last long, as they disappeared in the late 90's. Today, they are considered collectors items, occasionally popping up on eBay. Being a proud owner of some of these, I would recommend them to any comic and/or toy collector.
Next time, we'll take a look at some rarely seen knock-offs of these figures!
