R.I.P. Iain Burgress
This past Friday, legendary Chicago punk producer Iain Burgress pated away. May he rest in peace. His most famous production work was Big Black's song "Racer X."

Where did this blog get its name?
Why, this song of course! From 1972, Hawkwind, with some guy known as Lemmy on vocals!

R.I.P. Jay Reatard
Although I have not listened to him much, the songs I heard were very good. He was
great garage rocker and will be missed greatly. He was only 29. :(

Caledonia-Cro-Magnon
This song is absolutely shocking and terrifying, especially for 1969. Its 4 minutes of sheer noise and terror. Some say its the first black metal song. Only listen to this if you can take it.

Vintage Cassettes!
Ok, we all used cassette tapes at one point. Nowadays, they're virtually gone, but some of them are awesome!
(Above: Various cassettes from the 80's and early 90's)
Although cassettes are not mostly out of print and unused (except for in the indie circuit),
they have developed a small following among technology fans. I still have a sealed Maxell tape from circa 1990!
